Get started Installation

LaTeX

Texpile recommends using TeX Live and MacTeX. However, other distros such as MiKTeX will work fine.

Install a full TeX distribution to compile LaTeX:

Windows TeX Live or MiKTeX. macOS MacTeX, or BasicTeX for a smaller install. Linux TeX Live from apt, or from upstream.
